RCR ALL INCLUSIVE BACKUP FOR NETWORKS

This backup routine was developed after a discussion with one of my clients. My clients question was

“what would happen  if we did have a fire and everything was destroyed?  “

The answer is our all inclusive backup routine based on the Microsoft Backup that is included with their operating systems. Microsoft now includes a “bare metal” backup with its new operating systems 2008 Server, SBS 2008 and Windows 7 professional.  RCR has developed a backup scheme to be sure you won’t lose anything. It works like this:

All workstation computers are backed up to your file server. The file server is then backed up to a portable USB 3.0 drive to be taken off site at the end of the day. The beauty of a ”bare metal” backup is that it can be restored to any computer . Therefore if every computer in your office including your server and all your software was destroyed , you would be protected as long as you had the portable drive.
